By the way, the EU in its wisdom has decided to ban the words 'no added sugar' from food and drink labels from next year.

They say that companies should only be able to tell you what is a product, not what isn't in it.

Why isn't Oliver jumping up and down about that?

Because it doesn't fit the 'evil multinational corporation' narrative.

The missus is a tough bitch so it all evens out.
Don't breed, too late .
It has nothing to do with being a man or being tough but everything to do with being what I was taught to be with a big slab of genetics too.
As for my children they will be fine even with a blubbering old man who can see the warmth in humanity.

Can i just say that I have always hated the way Americans get emotional and blubber over what seems to be the most slightest thing, that was not what Nadiya was doing by the way.

That may have been (but probably wasn't) funny the first time I heard it all those years ago, but after 1 million iterations it really is tired, and YOU should be EMBARRASSED to show yourself up as having a complete lack of wit.

THERE, I said it!

It had to be said.

Crying at the bake off, Sunshine, I cant go along with that. I appreciate that it was a big deal to her and her family and friends and I get that emotions may be stirred after following the story but TEARS ?????

I refuse to let this incident cloud my judgement of you...dont let it happen again..

Re: Are you in favour of a sugar tax?
No extra tax, having thought about this, but it is important to give people enough information so that they can make an informed decision.

So it's all about the labeling for me. the producers need sugar content writ large enough so as not to be missed.

You have moved beyond empathy, Hairy. You are sopping wet. Denuded of your Y chromosome and all trace of testosterone. Please don't breed. Your weakness must be a dead end, for the sake of the species.

If you agree that he's going to campaign for a sugar subsidy to make it cheaper for stressed people everywhere to enjoy chocolate and fizzy drinks, I'm confident you are mistaken.

One day, mayonnaisism will be taken as seriously as racism and sexism. Let this be a warning.
